For some people, the month of August is summer vacation prime time.  For others, the focus is on July, and by August, especially after the second week, there is a definite hint of fall in the air.  You might notice that the days are getting shorter, or that a few stressed trees have begun to color.  It all looks green and beautiful, but something has changed.  The first step has just been taken to the glories of September and early October on the lake.
